Human Resources Overview

Use the Human Resources module to create and maintain employee records, positions, contracts, and leave.

The HR module contains the Staff Manager, as well as the Organization, Leave, and Support Codes menus. You'll use the Organization, Support Codes, and Leave menus to configure the fields that you'll use to add & edit employee records, create employee leave forms, and promote contracts.

Set up the HR module

  1. Enter organization information — contract types and position types

  2. Enter or review support codes — employment status, degree type, termination codes, specialization, certification source, background checks

  3. Set up leave — leave types and leave policies

  4. Add employee records
